The A-Type platform lift is a freestanding platform lift designed to travel up to 9m/5 floors and has a rated load of 400 or 1000Kgs. The A-Type platform lift comes complete with it's own shaft in standard powder coated, stainless steel or glazed panels. It can also have its own fire-rated shaft. The A type is equally at home in commercial and residential applications. The A-type complies with AS1735 and DDA.

Safety Features

The Type A platform lift has a slip resistant floor and a rigid handrail, it features contact sensitive perimeter safety edges that immediately stop the lift when touched. The lift doors are self-closing with power opening an option. These can be fire-rated, partially or fully glazed to suit your individual requirements. Emergency stop & alarm buttons are located within arms reach on the platform lift control panel and the "hold to run" control system has a limited speed of just 0.15 m/s providing optimum safety for all users.

Low Cost

No shaft by others is required; you simply need to cut a hole in the floor along with a 3- or single- phase power supply. The factory pre-assembled lift shaft reduces the installation time to less than 1 week, making this lift a quick and easy option for any company. Both internal and external models are available.
