The Platform Lift Company introduces the UK's only 1-hour fully fire rated shaft

We are pleased to announce the arrival of the only 1-hour fire rated lift shaft in the UK to our ever-expanding collection of disabled lift solutions. The Type A lift can now be installed with a 1-hour fire rated shaft.

This lift is supplied directly by us at The Platform Lift Company, reducing the need for builders' work. It is a completely self-contained shaft that ensures there is no requirement for a block, brick or other shaft by others.

The overall foot print size for the fire rated shaft is 1650mm by 1450mm, maximizing floor space and providing easy access for your disabled visitors.

Installing the fire rated shaft reduces builders' works costs. All you need to do is have a 50mm pit formed, cut out the aperture and supply us with a single or three phase power supply and The Platform Lift Company will install your lift within 5 days, fully fire rated.
